Southampton | 26/2/17 | 1pm | The Company left Longmoor at 7 AM 26.2.17 having marched from billets at Grantham, where
the greater part of the unit arrived in civilian clothes, 5.2.17. The unit went overseas six men
under strength. The following were the names of the officers Capt. E.S. HASELL in command, Capt.
D.T. WOOD, II Lieuts. R. GIBB, S.J. ASKHAM, F.G. PRICE, A. BOXALL
Havre | 27.2.17 | 5 PM | The Company having left Southampton at 9 PM 26.2.17 on the S.S. "Caeserea," loaded
at Havre, and was accommodated at No. 1 large west camp.
Dranoutre | 4.2.17 | 4 PM | Having left Havre at 2 AM, 3.3.17, the unit detrained at BAILLEUL at 11:30 AM, 4.3.17,
and was accommodated in billets near DRANOUTRE, where they were employed on constructing the
"CLAPHAM JUNCTION to BRULOOSE LINE."
Dranoutre | 8.3.17 | | Detachment of one officer and thirty other ranks left for POPERINGHE 8.3.17 to work on
the maintenance of lines in the YPRES salient.
Clapham Junction | 16.3.17 | | Headquarters of the company moved under canvass to sheet 28 S.W.S.12 a 8.2 Work on same
new Railway continued.
17.3.17 | A further Detachment of 19 men left for POPERINGHE to strengthen the first party and
enable them to undertake the completion of RAILHOEK YARD, in addition to maintenance.
17.3.17 to 31.3.17 | Remainder of Company at Sheet 28 S.W. S.12.a.82 on "CLAPHAM JUNCTION &
BRULOOSE LINE
