The company were engaged on work on the Clapham function - Brullse Line behind
Kemmel hill. Great difficulty was experienced in pushing on the earthwork during
the earlier part of the month, owing to continued bad weather.
No. 3 platoon under II Lieut BOXALL RE remained on detatchment
one mile east of POPERINGHE, where they were engaged on maintaining
lines in the forward area and constructing a subsidiary Railway Stores Park
at RAILHOEK.
