up but I am out of danger away

from the fireing line + that is

untill they get to our journey 

end I think it will take another

couple of days yet

we are comeing nearer to you

but in France it is a lovely

day today nice + Warm +

tell my boys to be good + then

there dady will come sometime

to see them but I hope it

to hear about Alice because

she is getting on now eh well

my Dear you must cheer up it

is better to have me alive than

dead I have a chance of seeing 

you again now you ask me if

I have seen our Ted no I have not

see him or heard from him +

I have not wrote to my Father

for a long time now but I will

do so sometime well my Dear

Nan you never sent Regs address

to me I owe him a letter
