My Dear Nan in answer to your
most welcome letter which I received
today Monday + glad that you all
are keeping allright as well as can
be expected I am all right myself
up till now thank God I have been
through it lately + I hope it will
be the last that I shall have to
go through it is a miricle that
I am liveing there are not so
many left of the old boys in
our Battalion that joined when
I did I think that me and moseby
are the two oldest left now but
