Action 19/4/17 1800. Remainder of Reserve Coy (60 all ranks) sent to
at Redoubt with 4000 rds SAA Mark VII, and 6000 rds SAA mark VI
POST- 1815. Wounded sent out of the Redoubt at dusk. Turkish
enveloping movement causing evacuation at 1830.
3 Officers and 30 OR out of original Garrison of
400 All ranks marched out.
1830. Bde relieved by 157 Bde Line taken up 500 yds SE. of
original Bde line.
2030. BN Reserve Coy with slightly wounded men and
surviving garrison of the Redoubt proceeded to bivou[ac]
on KURD HILL.
BN H.Q. with stretcher parties remained in position until
2330; by which time all possible wounded had been
brought in.
