My dear Lassie,
Saturday morning + the
first cool day we have had!
Reveille 5.30: Breakfast 6am:
Roll call 6:30: Kit inspection 10:
+ most likely "bull ring" 1.30 to 7
this afternoon. I am not in the
break between Roll call + Kit
inspection. Our little band of
20 is the only 3/4th lot left now,
all the others who left R. just before
me, having gone up the line. The
last (Polk's lot) having gone
yesterday. There are many here
who have been up the line from
1 to 5 times, + who are slightly
