place nothing else but barns
no towns any where near all
open country plough fields they
are sowing there wheat now
the woman do the farm work
hear + plough they work like
horses out hear as there are not
many men as they are all
fighting we have been very
lucky yet we have lost 11
men so they wont see home
again there are hundreds of
English graves hear where
the poor Tommy has been
buried + there are hundreds
they cant get laying between
