  fighting well Nan I told you when

  you can escpect me home some

  time nesct month I cant tell

  you when I am comeing by letter

  as we dont get to know only the

  day before we leave there are sending

  home 6 at a time now every

  week so there is a chance of me

  comeing now you cant be more

  anscous [SIC] than I am I can tell you

  we call all of them lucky when

  they go you must tell my little

  Earnie + Albert that Dady will

  come some time that is if God

  spares my life O about the £ 3.00

  you might get it any day now

  as it takes such a time to go

  Dear I hope you get it before Escmas

  I only wish I was home with you

  I can tell you it is eary talking home

  there I shall be glad to see a bit

  of fire coal and hear y/- a cut

  so we dont get much of that I

  hope that you will make yourself

  as happy as you can at Christmas

  all of you sisters ought to elate

  together + have a nice do tell Maggie

  that I shall be able to manage the

  both of you when I come home as I

  am fit now 12 months now eh
