near Ypres at present so you

will see by the papers how we are

going on Well my Dear I think

they ought to rase your money

as things are so dear home there

it is time that the War was over

well we keep on winning but it

takes such a time they have sent

a new draft of men to our Batt

so there might be a chance of

comeing on leave now + let

it be soon it will be all

right comeing but it will be

the comeing back that wont suit

eh I think I had better say that

I want to get married eh well

my Dear you can tell the Minister

+ thank him for his kindness

in thinking about me we have

been having a lot of wet weather

lately + cold Well my Dear I

hope you look to my clothes or

else they will be spoilt Reg says

that he wrote to his Grandfather

but he had not answered it

yet he has not answered

mine yet it dont trouble me

much if he dont write My Dear

I very often look at you + the

boys in the Photo + hope that

they are good boys + I hope your

Alice is going on all right

I am sorry for her + Maggie
