My Dear Nan just a line in answer to your most
welcome letter which I received quite safe + glad that you are keeping all
right you must not make up your mind when I shall be comeing
home as it is a thing I cant tell you as they are sending such
a few at a time but I shall have a good try to come as soon
as possible we are on the move back from the trenches for a rest
on work I cant tell you yet how we shall go on but will
tell you later on Well Dear you will have got my other letter
by this time they will have errosed I hope it will be good luck
eh we are haveing it stormy hear at present + not so
warm as it ought to be I have be saveing up some scarves
+ other things but I have to throw them away now as I cant
carry so much with me as I think we are on the march
for 3 days + I have no where to put things so it is like to
be I only wish I could have come now Well my Dear I would
sooner the War be over you must tell my boys that they must
prey for dady to come home + be good + then I will come
there are many hundreds that wont that I know of poor
chaps but thank God I am liveing up til now + hopeing that
I shall have the luck to keep so I bet you would feel
