made my fourth trip to Flesquieres yesterday.
I had been beginning to fear that
I might be shifted away suddenly from
here, so I determined to get some photos
of Flesquieres so long as the chance remained.
Accordingly I arranged with a Cambrai
photographer to go out. He has just
resumed business, and was willing to take
on the job. Through the kindness of one of
our officers, I got the use of
one our motor lorries to drive out in. My
chum, Corpl. Frank Cooper, made one of
the party. Altogether we took five
pictures of the grave, the cemetery, and the
village, and if they come out all right,
they should make a very interesting set
of photos. The photographer has promised
