interesting reminders of my war experiences.

We had a heavy rainstorm yesterday,

and frost and snow this morning, so you see

the weather can be a little mixed here

sometimes, as well as in Scotland. There

is no sign of any change in our lot, so

we are just carrying on quietly as before.

A trip as such as I had to St. Quentin on

Saturday goes a long way to break the

monotony, and I am glad to have been able

to see so much of the country in such

a short time. The next country I want

to see is Bonnie Scotland, - the finest of

them all. There`s nae place like home!

I hope Mary is still improving, and that

all the other families are doing well.

I trust you are also settled down yourself

after the cleaning and keeping well and cheery

as usual. No more word from Peter yet?

Cheerio again, mother. Love to all at home from

Your affectionate Son
