  My Dear Nan I have just got

  your letter after so long + glad

  that you + the boys are keeping

  all right I am not so grand

  myself we have had a lot of

  hard marching lately I don't know

  how long it is going to last but

  I wish it was over I dont think

  myself that the War will last

  many more months I hope not

  anyway + I cant allways drop
