A pay stub from:

THE WELSH NAVIGATION STEAM COAL CO., LTD.

TYLCHA FACH LEVEL.

PAY Ending, 23 AUG 1913

It names Robert Price and details his earnings.

He is recorded as being paid for a span of 6 days at a 3/- rate. Added to that is a percentage which amounts to 10 shillings and 4 pence. That made his total earnings £1/8/4d.

Deducted from Robert's earnings were 7 shillings attributed for "Rent", fourpence for "Insurance", and threepence for "Doctor".

His total pay was then calculated to 1 pound and ninepence.

Along the length of the document is a legal statement requesting workers notify management of any accidents. Failing to do so would result in a denial of compensation by the company.

The document is stamped "PAID" with purple ink.
