it is to much trouble for him
we are haveing it a bit cold
out hear at present I would
sooner have old England
than this place I cant understand
the talk at all hear
I am writeing this in the
kitchen of the house nesct
to our stable where we are
sleeping to but it is a miserable

Sometimes it looks like he writes esc- consonant. But now that I have transcribed more of his pages, I think that that is his x. So next, not nesct, which is what it looks like to me.
