quite safe & glad that you are
keeping as well has can be escpected
well Nan to tell you
the truth I feel done up
myself every time I go into
the trenches it is a shame that
I got to go because there is no
rest all the time we are in
I only wish I could get out
of it but it his not so easy
as any one thinks well my

It looks like escpected. But now that I’ve transcribed more of Price’s letters, I think his x looks like sc.
I agree. My eyes saw an ‘x’, but as I transcribed more of his writing, it is consistently written as “sc”.
