Photographie de studio encadrée en noir et blanc d'Edouard Dubart, de son épouse Marie et de ses deux filles, prise dans un studio à Valence, en France. Il porte son képi et son pardessus de l'armée française portant, sur la manche gauche, un badge à six chevrons indiquant son rang.
Leurs filles portent de jolies robes, bracelets et colliers de dentelle blanche empaillée, un nœud dans les cheveux, des chaussures très polies. Sa femme assise porte un chemisier blanc empesé et une longue jupe noire.
Ses deux filles s'appellent probablement Simone et Claire car ces noms sont gravés sur la boîte faite main de son temps à Münster, en Allemagne, dans le camp du prisonnier de guerre.________________________________________________________________________________________________________
