20.I.17. Kaltes Wetter. Keine Sicht.

Article from  Sen. . about  ....

Tip." 10% on all prices, to

make the waiter job a honoured

one. By auto to Reville. Returned 10.30.

I lb. Liversausage M 3.50

21.I.17. Kalt

To-day I wrote a letter to Lorenz in

Chic.  Chicago I had a great pleasure to

do that and wrote as follow:

My d. L. It is cold to-day, Snow,

I just got a nice warm "room" smoke

a cigarette and dream and what do

I dream of, of the boys in U.S.A.

I am very thankfull to you m. d. L.

for all the attentions you paid to

me lately. 1. The letter with the

photos of the  young couple and

than those interesting papers.

I received 4 of them, if that is all

you send me? Perhaps. There were

only events which could interest

me: War in Mexico.  P..ting  the

 T...  back on whole front.

 Right page

Arrival of U 53 in U.S.A. T. Roosevelt

in Chic. As I told you befor

it is a very interesting thing to

hear other peoples opinion about

the war. And I must constitate that

this very opinion turned much

to our favor lately. Is it not so?

It must at last clear up in so

many heads? This Bluff  ca...

last all time. Germany should

have died a couple of times by

starving out, but thanks to God

we are not yet as far as that and

will never be. We got enough to

eat  also we got nothing in abundance.

I would like to land suddenly

in Newport by U. Boot. And I would

take a chance before all other things

to eat a nice steak. Never mind

it will be so once in a while.

The reason of my leting you

wait so lang is as unsual, the

time and opportunity to write was

missing. I only tell you one
