Ill have a permanent stiff
leg when they have finished
with me. While down at
Rouen I had a very middling
time and it was a touch and
go whether I git through
or not. I was delirious
for a fortnight and I noticed
on my report it stated
"Mental condition bad" They
told me afterwards I used to
sing out all our old songs
and would not be quietened
unless I was drugged. I
had to be moved to another
ward because I used to
keep the other patients
awake. I was away a month
