My Dear Annie,
Your very welcome letter of
24th Aug. just received and many thanks
for same. glad to know you are all well
as I'm same T.G. It's curious but on the
days Baby was calling Dad. I wasn't too
well. I'm delighted she is so good and
getting so big. Yes Annie I got two photos
both very nice. I think I told you before
one of you and one of Mr. Mande. Poor
Melva. I was intending to give her a good
time in Cortubber with Kitty. but it wasn't
to be. Yes Annie if we hadn't settled down at
home things might be different. but I suppose
we just had to fulfill our destiny. we were
just too happy and that is bad for poor
mortals. love to all. write often
your affectionate brother
