but of course they both were still in the
Grenadier Guards, this Tudway's father had
a big Estate in Wiltshire so when
Lieutenant Tudway went home for to visit
his mother & father he always took Ted
with him, his parents was very fond of
Ted they always treated him as if he was
there son's brother instead of him being
his vallet which was very nice Tudway was
if I remember a year younger than Ted,
I know when hunting season was on
Tudway always went home for that & took
Ted along with him, I can still remember
Ted having two lovely hunting suits that
Tudway bought for him one was a grey
tweed & the other green tweed mixture
with what they called plus fore's another
thing too Ted always wore civilian suits
while he was his vallet never the soldier's
uniform even when he came home for his
weekends which was quite often. Well Ted
stayed with L. Tudway until he was ready to
come out on Reserve which they could do,
so in 1913 Jan, Ted decided he would come
out on reserve, so when they do that they
like to get a goverment position so to
carry on there pension, well after he was
home in the Feb. 1913, he had the offer
