The Government are relaxing somewhat in regard to material.
I have had three firms in this week offering 20 x 14 at
62/ 1/12. per Box without Certificate s + have also an offer
of 1/4 plates without Certificate from Taylors He
There was another advance this week of 5/ men over 18
+ 2/6 under 18 + on the 1st of January I am expecting
47 hours to be the full working week. This is a
compromise the men wanting 44 hrs. There is also a
notice from the Tyme Shipbuilders + Engineers for a 36 hrs
week under consideration.
I am sending you by the smae plates for L2/0/0 as
an Indication that I have not forgot you this Christmas
+ hope I will help you to have a nice Christmas this year
what I am hoping will be your last away from home
