  but Found the work very Hard J. Hill 

  requested me to let him leave at 5 pm on Wed

  afternoon has  as  he felt ill. This was at noon,

  needless to say he did not get off + managed to

  survive till now

  I think I shall give Muggins a job I may

  has well have a Convalescent home as

  an empty shop it will give me something

  to do + empty shop will only worry me to death

  + He will be a useful man to fall out

  with I shall have to have some relief

  if its only losing my temper + I think 

  of Hill + Him will about supply the

  necessary outlet should the real necessity

  arise.

  I sent an appeal in for Harry to day at least

  I gave it him to take down when I left

  + he wanted me to state wheather  I though

  it best to appeal or not has he had been

  talking to  a man etc etc. my experience

  will not allow me to advise any body +

  I told him so.

  I have not heard anything from Mr Betts

  to date but assume these people are

  very busy. Mr. Drake I understand he's 

  working at the Munition Factory Dept. +
