  Oct 31st Nov 1st   At Malta.  Ship placed under observation. Plenty of sport

  Nov 2nd   Left Grand Harbour at 4pm and anchored at Mocea Sconacca for the night.  

  Nov 3rd   Left Mousa Sconacca at 7am proceeded to sea met   Shelldrake at 7:20am took over transport Transylvania.  Hostile submarine sank SS Statesman.  Snapdragon opened fire on him but she dipped.  Statesman was torpedoed shelled then bombed but not sunk. Snapdragon took her in tow for Malta.  

  Nov 4th   At sea.   SS Orion attacked by submarine but got clear.  

  Nov 5th   At 6:30am turned transport over to Staunch and proceeded to Moudros arriving 10:30am.  

  Nov 6th   Left at 8:30am for escort duties. SS Acabia sunk by submarine.  

  Nov 7th   At sea escorting.  

  Nov 8th    Arrived Moudros 10am.  

  Nov 9th   Towed target for Grasshopper and Racoon Battle practice finished 11:30am .  embarked Captain D took him to Keplolo arrived 2pm.  Left again at 2:30pm arriving Moudros 5pm. 

  Nov 10th   At 2:30pm submarines sighted off Shati left harbour searched until dark then to patrol. 

  Nov 11th 12th 13th 14th At sea escorting. 

  Nov 15th   Arrived Moudros 2:30pm. 

  Nov 16th   Left for patrol 1:30pm. SE gale blowing.  

  Nov 17th 18th   At sea escorting.  

  Nov 19th   Arrived Moudros 2pm.  received orders to raise steam by 9am suppose they want to try our Engine been laying in all the afternoon. 

  Nov 20th   Left at 9:20am for escort duties.  SS Spaci sunk by submarine. 

  Nov 21st   At sea.  Received SOS from Brittania struck a mine off point Nichola left patrol immediately and proceeded to her assistance but we had 70 miles to go.  by the time we arrived  she had sunk.  Foresight gave us orders to patrol off entrance while she went to see about the wounded.  Foxhound and a French destroyer were also inside.  Casualties not being many. Saved 1106 Wounded 28.  Missing 50.  SS Brittania one of White Star line being used as a hospital ship no other mines were found rather extraordinary generally when one mine is seen then is at least another five.  We left Point Nichola 4pm resumed patrol. 

  Nov 22nd   On patrol.

  Nov 23rd    Arrived Moudros 7am. Taken in hand for boiler cleaning and a stand off as its carried.  SS
