so we stopped them and not many ran after that. finished this game and joined up with patrol at 8pm was sent back again to make sure none of them woke up.
May 11th We opened fire at midnight but no reply Opened fire again at 3:50am causing plenty of damage. Left there about 6am and anchored in Keplolo left again at 5pm but was ordered down to see our chums all was quiet down there then we patrol off coast during the night.
May 12th Took positions for Grafton then left for Moudros arriving 1pm.
May 13th At Moudros boiler cleaning.
May 18th Boiler cleaning completed.
May 19th Left Moudros for patrol. Monitor 18 bombarding Hellos no reply.
May 20th On patrol At 10pm Abercrombie opened fire at Cape Terkel finishing at midnight.
May 21st On patrol.
May 22nd Arrived Moudros at 1pm.
May 23rd At Moudros.
May 24th At 7:30am proceeded with Lowestoft who carried out battle practice finishing at 9:30am took recording parties to Exmouth then left for patrol.
May 25th Three of our aeroplanes bombed railway station Barracks and Turkish Quarters at Syrima returning safely.
May 26th On patrol. Enemy opened fire at Mavro (an observation station outside entrance of Dardanelles) firing about 30 rounds of heavy stuff smashing up signal station Casualties 1 man wounded. At 7pm captured two sailing boats making a dash for Straits and sent them to Tevedos.
May 27th Embarked SO 2nd DS. Took him to Duncan arriving Moudros 7pm.
May 28th At Moudros.
May 29th Left at 8 am for patrol.
May 30th On patrol. Submarine reported off Moudros.
May 31st Patroling Asiatic coast.
June 1st Hostile aeroplane dropped two bombs
willwhich fell just off our port bow. Tevedos drove him off. We left patrol at 11am and arrived Moudros 1:30pm.June 2nd At Moudros.
June 3rd Left at 9am for Battle practice then to patrol, heard a buzz about Grand Fleet being in Action.
