At 8pm Grafton and Bulldog commenced bombardment at W and V beaches. Turks returned the fire. At about 9pm we were recalled to Moudros. Nearly time we are being shaken to pieces by broken propeller.
Jan 17th Arrive Moudros 7am.
Jan 18th to Feb 7th boiler cleaning and waiting orders to go to dock. during this time landing almost every morning for route marches full marching order and everything thats good.
Feb 8th Completed with stores and raise steam for Malta and we are not sorry.
Feb 9th Left Moudros at noon Rotten weather.
Feb 10th At sea still calling.
Feb 11th Arrived Malta noon. Gave 4 days general leave plenty doing. taken in hand by Dockyard on propellers being got off. all blades were damaged.
Feb 24th Undocked new blades not yet arrived.
March 20th propellers arrived from England Docked.
March 24th Undocked
March 25th Steam trial report satisfactory.
March 26th Proceeded to sea escorting Oiler Winamac
March 27th At sea.
March 28th Left Winamac at Trilo at 8 am and proceeded to Moudros arriving at 6:45pm.
March 29th At Moudros.
March 30th Left at 1am for Dardenelles and patrol.
March 31st On patrol. Turks opened fire at our aeroplanes flying over Hellos.
April 1st On patrol. During night Augora laid mines.
April 2nd Left patrol 11am arrived Moudros 1:30pm.
April 3rd At Moudros.
April 4th Left for patrol 10am. Rotten weather.
April 5th On patrol.
April 6th Left patrol for Keplolo and anchored. Left again at 5:30pm Q aeroplane made a signal to say one of our machines in sea off Gaba Tekel we proceeded full speed to Gaba Tekel. Turks opened up fire but he got no hits. Airman picked up by Savage. Left here at 7:15pm and glad of it getting rather warm. Took up night patrol. Augora laid mines during the night.
Aptil 7th Left pathos and arrived Moudros 1:30pm.
April 8th Moudros.
April 9th Left for patrol. nothing doing. Augora laid mines.
April 10th 11th On patrol,.
April 12th Turks opened fire at daybreak with about 11 inch guns. At 11am smoke seen up straits. At 12:30 Turks again opened fire we engaged them at
