Note

    The Mark II primer consists of a metal body,

screwed externally for a portion of its length to fit the

primer hole in the cartridge case, the interior is bored

and recessed to take a cap which is secured by a

screwed plug, this plug has an anvil at one end the

other end being bored out to form a sealing chamber and

contains a soft copper ball to seal the escape of gas

after firing and relieve the pressure on the cap, the

sealing chamber is closed by a perforated screwed
