Trail
The trail is tubular, and is secured to the underside
of the axletree by a bracket, which is also forms a pivot for
the carriage body. The rear end is fitted with a spade,
lifting handles, trail eye and a traversing level, which the
latter can be folded down and held by a spring clip when
not in use. The trail is further supported by a tensile
stay on each side, on end of which is attached to the
axle-tree by a bracket. Width of trail equal 12°

Carriage Body
The body which is attached to the trail
consists principally of two triangular shaped frames
connected by transoms and provided with bearings through
which the axletree passes and by which it is provided for
traversing.

Cradle
The cradle is bronze, with steel trunnions
to pivot it to the Carriage Body the left trunnions
