My dear Lassie,

Once again! Each man

is only allowed to write 1 letter per

day now. As you see, we are still

here at the base, although we nearly

went up the line yesterday to the

6th batn, in fact 5 including

Small, Lenarx, Smith were taken.

Nim seems to be getting well advanced

- from her jokes - but it was funny

As a result of yesterday's upset,

we have changed camps, but are

still at same address for

correspondence. "Ye olde Citie"

seems to be having a rough
