My dear Muriel,
Well, once again,
I'm still going on nicely, + had
my first swab taken today - ie
the 1st of the 3 necessary ones. I hope
they are all clear without a break +
I shall then see you all the earlier,
bless you! It has been very windy
+ bitterly cold all day (+ yesterday
also). We can see the sea (no pun) from
here although it is a mile or two away,
+ when the wind is in the right
direction, I can distinctly smell it.
I did so today + it is grand. It makes
me think of you at Scarboro! I had
a letter from Lochie yesterday dated
