was spraying up in front but they looked

fit for work.

Janet has got a dreadful bump on her

thigh. It will go all colours. You see the

sea (no pun) washed off into the sixfoot

end bumping her first on the concrete.

Then she fell down the steps and has

got a bruised knee now so she has been

in the wars.

Do you remember Gribbles from Acomb?

They are staying next door with their three

children who have all got whooping cough.

Geoffrey Farnhill - Evelyn's cadet + his

friend Peachie (this is his proper name)

asked Evelyn to go for a walk. They went

on to the North side passed the Bungalows.

Tonight Julia had a bad cold so

stayed with me instead of going on to the

Spa - She has written the enclosed letter

to you - I could scream at her first sentence

and the drawing is very realistic. She

announced it with great aplomb at breakfast

that I was getting ever so fat. of course

there was a general laugh. She said

I was following in Kitty's footsteps.

That made us all laugh more
