we will go for a few afternoons into the lop

shelter when you come and we'll pull face

at the old dames. Then I shall just roll

on to the top of you and roar with laughing

Diphtheria seems to be the fashion at Etaple

Jolly glad you were in the fashion for once.


Now laddie I will close with all my love

and as you say an "a la Whitby." Give up

you make funny shivers go up my back. You

wretch! Who used to put the electric light out

and then draw the blinds up? How did I

see you stand one night without a ----- on

shocking sire shocking. Cheer ho - we shall

soon see each other again. and you will get

ten days leave aflo all the convalescence is

over and we are going to have a second

honeymoon. Anywhere my laddie wants.

But I think I shall never stop smiling and

laughing when I get you back.
