  Now the war is over                      

  sorry all the fighting is not

  done for there is a good deal

  to settle here at home.

  But when I get my civil clothe

  with that piece of paper

  of delightfull words you discharge

  There will be no more bully beef

       or mess room tea

  So nothing is going to put the

       wind up me

  a good time I will have

       + invite all the nice girls to tea

   and a  nice warm bottle in my nice

       snug bed

  + a nice soft pillow for my

       big thick head

  when I get my civies on
