Fritz shelling railway &

blown it up in one place,

had to go through & come 

back through his artillery

fire. wind up.

Thursday April 11, Wind up.

frightened of Fritz breaking

through, received orders to 

pack kit bags in readiness

to retire, no work to do.

Railway lines blown up in 

a few places.

Sunday April 14 Removed 

camp to Dickebusch 9 pm

Monday April 15 Making

reserve trenches behind Ypres

Tuesday April 16 Removed

camp to Busseboom, working

on reserve trenches
