another 5 Francs pay, nothing
to do all day. Went down to
the village in the afternoon +
listened to the 54th Canadians
Band practising
Saturday Apl 21 Started
loading waggons at 7. a.m. and
finished work at 7. a.m. Sunday
morning. Unloading a train
load of waggons from 12 pm
until 7 a.m.
Sunday Apl 22 Got down to
rest at 8 am + slept until
dinner time 1-30, no further
work for rest of day in the
evening went in the village
church. for service + heard
the Chaplain General to H.M.
Forces in the field, after the
service the band of the 54th Canadians
played a programe of music for
an hour, stopped + listened
