We made it cross-country river
with bycycles. We loved that
place where we left but are
glad to go to too , for they
shot nearer and nearer to
our place, and to-day we see
that we are right too as they
shell all the barracks. They
shoot as far as Neuville. At
about 8 we arrived at Harvoine .
Got nice quartier. They shoot here
too but we don't mind it.
We slept in our new beds
till 7 then started the work
clean ups of such a place.
At the front there is was los
they frownd . Somebody says
that 1/2 Kaings is prisoner and
the others say that we made
an inquiring. 2 aviators passed
one following the other and we
thought that the first one is
a Frenchman. Mr. Gautard
stopped 3 for not saluting

13.4.17 Schönes Wetter
In the morning we went out
to look for a new place to
settle down. We found one in
a nice wood. After marking
the trees (where all barracks
should be built) we returned
home. Arrived 12:30 after fight
with bight wind on the road. In
the afternoon I built my bed.
A children bed and the door
of a wardrobe. Went out in
the afternoon to show the way to
our coachmen, which were coming
with wood to build barracks.
But in the morning we got up
as the shooting enter our village
