Read in the paper that revolution soon
will break out in Italy. We are
full of hope that it will get to an
end this year. Hindenburg is still retreating.

To night I thought myself in
submarin. It was such a terrible
storm outside and our house
went up and down like a ship.
This afternoon I made a nice
walk to Thuringer Lager. There
I asked for bread but did not
get any. Those guys like to eat
all themselves. Well I still got
enough to eat now. Finished
the book. To-day about 7 o'clock one
could see the French trenches.
Prints from H+H arrived.
3.4.17 Fruh Schull Nachwittag Schon.
Afternoon I went to Lt. Gebhardt
to get some sable clothes, glasses.
carpets. That gentleman is specially
there to look for such things
now they had occasion to steal
them as a couple civils are going.
It was nice and warm in the sun.
