Ag: Senior Executive Engineer,

Larut and Matang.


To The State Engineer,

PERAK

  I am affected by the ruling under II (b) contained in F.S.

Circular No. 23/30. Particulars of my war service are as follows :-


From the 1st. January, 1915 to 1st. May, 1916, I was attached to the

5th. Regiment Canadian Artillery. I enclose a certified copy of

a memo from the Col. Commanding stating that my Commision

Certificate in that Regiment was available, but although I have

written for it on more than one occasion, I have never received it.


  On 1st. May, 1016, I transferred to the 15th. Brigade Canadian

Expeditionary Force with whom I served until demobilization on the

22nd. April, 1919. True copy of certificate is attached.


  I joined the Federated Malay States Government Service on the

24th. April, 1919.
