at 2 am to load waggons
+ finished at 7 a.m. had breakfast
+ then to bed until dinner time
Friday Apl 27 Called out at
3 am to unload waggons +
finished at 6-30 am, after that
back to bed until dinner time
Sunday Apl 29 Called out at
2-30 am to load waggons +
finished at 8 am. had
breakfast + then down again
no further work for rest of day
Monday Apl 30 Went for coal
10 am until 1-30 pm, off for
rest of day, had our second
bath parade. Heard the
cuckoo in the wood
at the top of our camp for
the first time, have also heard
a bird on a few occasions,
whistling in the early morning
