on Thursday & another Friday

so I went to see Doctor to day

Set 6/4/18. he said they could not

do anything at present, but when

they commenced sending dental

cases, they would send me that

Sat tea time moved by motor

then a terrible march cannot

be described. Then the trenches

we marched through shell holes

filled with water sunken

roads & raining all the

time. Bullets whistling

by us. then the trenches

you have not the very faintest

idea what they are like

over the top of the outtees

in mud and slime. I

am wet through up to the

thighs. Sat shivering in a

hole in side of trench

till daylight. then went

on top but on account

of shelling had to get
