Navy Separation Allowance to a dependant cannot exceed the
scale for a wife. Within the maximum of the rate payable to a wife, the
allowance to be awarded to a dependant of
an notivo servicerating will equalhalf the amount of the dependence that existed prior to the Avar (or prior
to the man's entiy into II M. Service, if later), always provided the seaman
continues to allot a sum equal in amount to this dependence. If he allots a
smaller sum, the allowance will be proportionately reduced, but if he is
able to allot more, the allowance will remain unaltered.
The Local Old Age Pension Authorities investigate and report as
to the amount of the dependence.
