should there be any more work for the navy he would see that we took part. Captain received the Order of the Nile. Nov 21st Left Port Said at 6:30am for Moudros.
Nov 22nd Arrived Moudros at 4pm.
Nov 23rd At Moudros.
Nov 24th Left Moudros in company with Fury at 10am escorting Lady Cory Wright carrying mines. Submarines reported outside boom belt but we no see him.
Nov 25th Went through Corinth canal and anchored at 3pm until midnight.
Nov 26th At sea escorting Lady Cory Wright.
Nov 27th Arrived off
turned convoy over we left for Malta. Nov 28th Arrived Malta 10am taken in hand for repairs etc.

Left Malta Dec 26th for Brindisi arriving PM 27th Dec. Joined up with Cruiser Squadron for duties on Banage. lively times with submarines. About the end of January whilst on patrol an AustrianCruiser and 4 destroyers cane down ----- meeting Jackall and hornet about 1:30am. Hornet was put out of action and caught fire amidships with a good many casualties. Jackall gave chase. Comet Martin Tonens and Cemetau dashed north to cut enemy off but Austrians had better speed than us. Jackall joined us and opened fire at about 2am but dropped short carried on the chase until about 4am when something broke down in the engine room. Told Jackall to take charge and continue chase. We were returning down Adriatic about 4:30am spotted a submarine quite close on surface. tried to ram but she sunk. Dropped big depth charge which sank her, we then returned to patrol. Came on in Adriatic water beginning of June during this time making --- up Adriatic about 3 times a week we then proceeded to Malta for repairs. Left Malta on Aug 2nd escorting a collier. On morning of 4th August at 3am the convoy rammed us by after gun cutting all the stern away. Engine bulkhead holding Sent convoy to Harbour as there were submarines reported ---. At 4pm a French trawler came along and ---------
