from Keplolo but nothing happened. At 12 o'clock
submarine reported off Castro making towards
Keplolo gave chase but was recalled. one of
our seaplanes flying from Keplolo to Moudros
had not arrived so searched for him found
him on shores of Lemnos undamaged turned
him over to a TB then returned to patrol.
Aug 5th On patrol.
Aug 6th Left for Moudros arriving at 1pm.
An ultimatum was received from Turks to
the effect that if we didn't clear out of
Keplolo they would blow us out. Really
time they caused a panic about something.
Aug 7th At Moudros.
Aug 8th Left for patrol.
Aug 9th 10th On patrol.
Aug 11th Smoke seen at 5 am up straits and enemy at
firing practice. Left patrol bringing one
Turkish prisoner to Moudros arrived 1:30 pm.
Aug 12th At Moudros.
Aug 13th Left for patrol. Hostile aircraft overhead.
Aug 14th On patrol enemy again on firing practice.
Aug 15th Left patrol and arrived Moudros at 1:30pm.
Aug 16th Taken in hand by Blenheim for small
repairs before going to Malta. Trail lost in
Dora Channel.
Aug 17th At Moudros.
Aug 18th Left Moudros at 7:30am in company
with Agamemnon formed submarine screen.
Aug 19th At sea. Plenty of submarines reported.
Aug 20th Arrived Malta 10am.
Aug 21st Gave general leave ship placed in
Dockyard.
Sept 5th Left Malta with Arcadian with
3,000 troops for Salonika.
Sept 6th At sea. Enemy submarines reported Isle of Zea.
Sept 7th At sea 3 or 4 more subs reported.
Sept 8th Arrived off Salonika 6am left convoy
and proceeded to Moudros arriving at 12:30 pm.
Sept 9th At Moudros.
Sept 10th At Moudros Captain D inspection.
Sept 11th Ordered to join 6th D.S. At 5 pm left
Moudros for "P" sector. (P sector off Staycos Island)
escorting shipping through our sector.
Sept 12th At 10am left patrol for Volo to meet
Greek transports transporting troops from Kavolo to
Volo and send them to Salinoka. At 7:30pm was
relieved by HMS Lynn. we returned to patrol.
Sept 13th, 14th, 15th On patrol escorting.
Sept 16th Arrived Salonika at 6:20am.
