  My dear Mu.,

  Well, I was up for the

  first time yesterday afternoon

  for about 2 hours, + today I have

  been up since dinner. Tomorrow

  I shall be on the usual ie rise about

  6.30. I feel quite alright but of

  course a bit shaky after 22 days

  in bed. We are usually kept here

  about 1 week to a fortnight before

  being sent on convoy for "Blig Lty";

  but of course the time may be

  longer, as we have to show 3

  negative swab. before being allowed

  to leave. So I hope with all my heart
