Yesterday, of course, was Good

Friday, + we were later out about "lights 

out" (on the Thursday) that

the parades would be as on Sunday,

so of course we have the afternoon

off. As today, my thoughts went

back to Good Friday's in days of

Yore, I didn't feel like anyone

else's company, so I set off on my

own to walk out Rainton way, for

old times sake. I did go, but

as it turned out, not alone. I

ran into Capt. Kirkalby on Noult

Bridge, + had to stop + have a word,

as he sleeps opposite me. The
