My Dear Stanley
We have again visited the
Hesh Exhibition in other words the B.P.
Mrs J.B. Morrell was there with her three
children the two little girls were coming
down the chute. Janet is going to try soon
she says it looks awful standing at the
top of the chute and seeing the water far
enough below. Frank came and joined
us. He will not let me alone. Says things
about you coming back in an awful state
practically helpless. I could kick him but
only laugh because he teases me more if
I retaliate.
Do you remember Annie Ellis from Scarcroft
Road. She is a widow but hasn't half come
out. Dressed in Taffeta - that very stiff silk
that almost stands by itself - it's all in
flounce. I think she must looking for
no: 2. A good many of them are on that
game. Norah says it is a shame. - they ought
