Dear Nora,
I have just received Mother's letter of 23-2-17 & the
Presbyterian Messenger & yours of the 21-2-17 & 25-2-17 for
which many thanks. They are most, most welcome & they are
coming pretty quickly now.
I am having absolutely the time of my life, & am fit &
radiantly happy & singing the live-long day. I have been
frantically busy & have not had a minute to write.
I am with my battalion again & have been doing Assistant
Town Major & O.C. recreations for the battalion & I seem
to have just fallen on my feet. My chief job has been
arranging concerts, cinemas, lectures etc for the amusement & recreation
of the men. It is practically Y.M.C.A. work & I enjoy it
immensely. You have heard me speak of Dr. Francis. I asked our C.O. if
he would like to have for a lecture, as he was near. He came &
we had absolutely the finest lecture I have ever heard. So our C.O.
said & every was bucked to the skys with it. Then Cameron is always
near at hand & I have great times with him. Then I arranged a great
concert which also was a great concert success. I sang & told stories &
