eventide). Well, lassie o' mine,

new visitors have arrived in our

tent - lice! I knew it was only

a question of time. So far I have

had none on my things, but

Langhland, Hislop, Fenwick + Cramb

have all found several on their things

As a matter of fact this camp is

very bad with them owing to the

sand + chalk dust. We each

get a free issue of 30 cigarettes or

2 oz. tobacco every week, but pay

is more irregular. I am sorry to

hear you are so sick each day, my

own poor lass, but cheer up, + don't

hesitate to ask Mother's advice on

anything (but I see you don't) I

only wish I was at home! Well,

take every care for both our sakes, see?

Give my love to all. With all my love

+ a goodnight hug, Your own,

Stanley
