  My dear Lassie,

  Well once again, we have

  just finished tea + - such of us

  as are allowed solid food - have

  eaten the bulk of the honey amongst

  us. It was grand, but don't

  send too much in the parcels, as

  we get extremely well "done to

  here, + I don't want to waste

  anything. Ive got eggs (eg.) each

  day, + later when convalescent,

  cludan, stew etc! I received 2

  letters from you, one from Ma, +

  one from Harold this morning, but

  I have to answer "gradually" as we
