once again. I'm glad I've been
detailed for today, because Gen
French is coming to inspect the
Ripon troops tomorrow morning, +
with a bit of luck, we ought to
get out of the route march + march
past. The big march we had last
week was a kind of rehearsal.
Also there is a rumour that this
guard will be continued until
tomorrow afternoon, so it's a good
thing I have got the slick!
